I have noticed a raptor/Accipiter has been visiting my Yard (usually on a quik fly thru) It happened again yesterday at around 5:00 pm
Well tonight, I lie in wait for him as it got darker and darker. At around 4:50 pm It showed up on a different approach that surprised me.
The image is dark/and grainy. It also confuses me even more. It might just be the lighting and the angle but I see squarish tail and heavily barred breast.
.Again though it was getting dark.I tried to clean it up a bit with photoshop but it didn't help. So I kept the
original .. shot at 1/320 f5.6 Iso 1600, focal length 135 mm (cropped).

With the limited lighting.......my best guess is an immature Cooper's Hawk.
