Post by: cocosally on June 29, 2010, 10:29:01 PM
5 Coopers Hawlets confirmed. I think 2-3 of them still have a bit of time to learn how to fly! saw 5 of them all together on 2 trees!
Indigo Bunting was also there (my 1st), hummingbird, lots of American gold finch, cat bird :D

Cool.   8)

My mom was just telling me on the phone the other day that she had sighted the Cooper's Hawk babies and Indigo Bunting.  I haven't visited Riverwood Park for ages!

Hi ostrich,

You can barely see the nest because it's almost blocked by leaves.  You can refer to below post for more info.

Take the right turn on Riverwood Park Lane then take the FIRST left turn immediately.  Follow to road to parking area.  After getting off the car, less than 5 mins walk there would be a split.  DON'T take the downhill path but take the other one.  Pay attention to all the trees on the left and you spot the chicks.
