Title: Loons of Balsam Lake

Greetings again :D

Here are some loons taken from Mike's boat on Balsam Lake from the weekend. The loon chicks looked only 2-3 weeks old. We kept our distance not to spook momma or daddy. They were so sweet to photograph.

their beauty

Are their eyes
really so red
as they appear?

I wonder what colours
loons see?
