Title: Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Post by: Leslie Kinrys on July 14, 2010, 10:37:45 AM
Since July 12, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak has been visiting my feeder. Each time it flies off, I think it is gone for good. But so far, it comes back often to feed. It is nice to have such a beauty in the yard. We live in the Sheppard/Bathurst area.

Hey Leslie!

Yesterday a single juvenile Rose Breasted Grosbeak was eyeing our feeder. It was mixed in with the Chickadee's and the 10 Blue Jays that were cavorting about in the trees in front of our place. It was quite noisy as you could imagine

Napper:)) is in Tiny Township at the Beach.

The resident Merlin's are quite vocal thru out the day chasing off TV's and AM Crows.

Yesterday, a single Male Hairy Woodpecker found the feeder and did nothing but scatter seed onto the ground. I figure it was looking for Earwigs.
