Title: Etobicoke Creek- White Egret and BCNH
Post by: ravynne40 on July 14, 2010, 03:01:55 PM
Today I walked up northward starting from Marie Curtis Park, big surprise was the White Egret!! and the BCNH was fishing in the creek, no sign of the juvenile (probably sleeping in a tree somewhere). Sorry for the blur on the first picture but he was quick and got a fish and then disappeared.

Great Egret:

Great finds and photos once again Irene.
I think I need to head over your way and see what I can spot.
I think you can say you're out  of your run of bad luck

Thanks Meghan, I sure hope they show for you when  you do head down here, it takes a little patience though so take  your time and scour every inch of the creek!

Nice shots!
I particularly like the BCNH. It's not too often you get to see their neck extended!
