Title: Great Ash Sphinx
Post by: Soaring Hawk on July 17, 2010, 09:24:23 PM
Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd mention that I saw a HUGE caterpillar today near Dufferin and Steeles, in the West Branch Don river valley parklands.  It was from a Great Ash Sphynx moth.

Very intriguing because it is a pale blue and has a blue Horn at it's tail end.... quite good to find it in Toronto!

Wish you had a picture, it sounds intriguing.  I'll have to google it.
