Thanks to Irene for showing me once again what a gem this little park can be.

awesome shots Meghan, you saw stuff I didn't see! good going on the Egret, so he finally showed his face!! yay!
I love the buggy eyes on the BCNH 6 and 7 pics! makes me laugh at how awkward they can be.
it was fun sharing my little corner of the world :)

Nice variety Meghan - you captured some great stuff. I really enjoyed the BCNH series.
-
Great action shots. We went to Marie Curtis too and found the BCNH. Is the first one an Eastern Wood-Peewee or an Eastern Phoebe ? Can't see the wing markings .. but no eye ring .. so don't think it's a flycatcher.

Hey Folks,
Sorry for my late reply to all of you.
I'm glad you enjoyed these shots.
For anyone headed there, Marie curtis Park is a real gem.
It's not the biggest place but KingFishers love it, and BCNH's are almost always around, Irene and I know they breed there but we've never found a nest just the product, always juvies this time of year.
Thanks to everyone for all your kind words.
