That has always been a favourite spot of mine especially in winter where many waterfowl species can be easily spotted. I haven't been there in awhile, is the construction completed in the visitor parking area?

Agreed! I was at HBP East this afternoon from 3-6 and was treated to close encounters with an egret and great blue heron. Also, plenty of cedar waxwings, and a northern mockingbird!
