Great Spot.
I found:
4 Green Herons
8 Black-Crowned Night Herons + 1 Juvenile
1 great Blue Heron
6 Kingfishers
2 Terns
All within the first 1/2 hour
Thanks to the previous poster for introducing me to this awesome little hotspot in the city.
My only complaint is everything was always on the "other side" (as usual)

Great lineup, nice variety of species!

Now that I've been educated on Terns (thanks to Denis and others) .. I believe your Tern is a Common not Caspian since he's got the black beak tip AND orange legs. It's the legs that distinguish them better, since Caspian has black legs. Nice shots of all !! That was a really good day for you.

Thanks Cody and Sue.

Lovely tern shots, Meghan! And it's absolutely true - the feet/legs color is the dead giveaway! Anyhow, very well done...

Wonderful shots!
I'm drawn to the shot of the heron with the water drops coming off the bill.
-
Beautiful shots Meghan, especially the GBH with the water droplets! and the Tern (1st one in flight) is awesome.
I'm glad you finally found the green heron!

Meg love this series! I esp like the gbh and the gh together :D

I appreciate all the kind words.
