I just saw this on the Glode & Mail website: Kodachrome’s last roll (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/arts/kodachromes-last-roll/article1659788/). While I don't have any urge to go back to film, Kodachrome was a truly unique and iconic product. Decades old images still look as sharp and vibrant as the day they were developed.

Anyone with unprocessed Kodachrome is now officially out of luck. The last processing machine was shut down last Thursday: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/30/us/30film.html?_r=2&scp=1&sq=kodachrome&st=cse
1935-2010 - Not many products can claim that lifespan these days.
