Title: Perth Wildlife
Post by: JimmyM on August 06, 2010, 02:35:24 PM
These shots were taken during our cottage stay north of Kingston .
Shots 1-4 were taken while traveling country roads . The GPS was a must !
The turtle was crossing the road at a posted turtle crossing area
The turkeys were likely escapees from a nearby farm. Also saw Loons, Indigo Buntings and many other species of birds.
Shot 5 - an Eastern Fox Snake ( about a meter long ) was taken in the cottage late at night.

Title: Perth Frogs
Post by: JimmyM on August 07, 2010, 08:12:21 AM
Hi Jo-Anne ,

We had a camp fire at night which seemed to draw the frogs to it - we could hear them moving about us in the underbrush.
