Title: Red Crossbill N of Coburg
Post by: Tyler on January 13, 2007, 10:20:44 PM
Took the family out for a hike on this lovely November, oops January day. The pine forests of Northumberland County forest was QUIET ( very poor cone crops) except for a group of 7 Red Crossbills encountered at the parking lot for the cross country ski trails.

Down In Coburg harbour there was less diversity than normal. Highlights wer 1 cackling Goose among 700+ canadas and 1 Lesser Scaup.
