I've been keeping an eye on the osprey nest at Stoufville Rd and Yonge (on the giant tower).
Today it looked as if a juvie was perched on the top of the nest, looking/learing to fly.
You could see another head inside the nest as well.
Previously, I'd only seen one osprey at a time in the nest.
If you're traveling up yonge towards stoufville rd, keep an eye on the southeast side. the tower is on private property so you can't get close.

Cool. Thanks for the update Richard.

8 AM today:
a young osprey was perched on the antennae that are 10-20 ft below the nest.

Today from 3:30 to 4:30, I saw the whole family, mom was on one of the antennas, father was out fishing, 2 juveniles were on the nest. I witnessed the father(i think, he seemed thinner and lesser barring on his neck compared to the other larger female who was keeping watch) fly back with 2 fishes for each of the juveniles. He fished on the west side of Yonge St possibly in one of the two ponds for one of the fish. Came back dropped it off took off east and came back with another fish. Only 1/2 hour between catches. This was definitely a treat for me to watch.

wow! Thanks for the update! We were there 2 weeks ago and we thought we saw something (back in April/May, we were there and it looks like the nest was damaged)
It's good to know there are ospreys there! :D
