Title: Iceland & Glaucous Gull - foot of York St - Fri Jan 19
Post by: fpinilla on January 19, 2007, 03:12:24 PM
Hi All,

From my office window overloking the Toronto Harbour I had a very close flyby of a 1st year Iceland Gull at about 3pm today, must be haning around along the waterfront somewhere.  #41 on my Office Window list.

Incidentally I had a 1st year Glaucous Gull on Tuesday January 16th and another, or the same bird, back on December 11th.

OK, just saw a 1st year Glaucous Gull fly by too (and no, the first bird was not a Glaucous it was an Iceland as I had a good close view of the first bird), the Glaucous Gull is sitting on the water right now just east of my building in a small "bay" just west of the ferry docks (this is in front of the Harbour Square condominium complex).

Cheers & good birding,
