Title: Spring is here!!!!!!!!!????
Post by: cabz on January 22, 2007, 10:28:06 AM
I live in Cheltenham, about 20 K northwest of Brampton.  Our property is on the Credit River.  To me, a sign of spring is Mergansers on the river when they are starting to move north.  Well, this morning, there were 3 Female Common Mergansers on the river.  I know this winter everything is downside up with birds etc. and I know they winter on the lake, but still nice to see them.

Reading with interest the post from Amherst and Wolfe Islands, as we are hoping to head there this weekend.

Good birding

I hope not!!!. I'd like to go skiing at least once this year. (Wednesday at Caledon already planned)

I live in urban Milton just south of yur location. This year is the first year I can remember Dark eyed junkos under my feeders at this time of
