At 7:35 pm, I noticed a flock of Common Nighthawks flying and feeding over our neighbourhood in the Bathurst/Finch area. I counted 18 birds. That is the most Nighthawks I've ever seen together. :D

I was kind of surprised to hear nighthawks a block north of me this summer. I'm sorry I didn't record the last time I heard them, but it was about the first week of August. I have no idea where they went. (Since I only heard it/them, I don't know the number.)

We had a customer make a bird sighting report at our store today, Common Nighthawks, estimated flock size of twenty. The sighting was in the Bloor and Parkside/Keele and took place on Friday, September 3 in the early evening.
