Title: Cobourg Harbour
Post by: Anonymous on January 22, 2007, 10:49:30 PM
There was a male and female red breasted merganser in the Harbour today, seen at different times on the east end of the harbour. Golden-eye, bufflehead, black-backed gulls and common mergansers were also present along with the hundreds of mallards, and Canada geese. A word of caution. It looks like the gate is closed for the season to get to the end of the pier on the east end. If u plan to walk out to the end, be careful. It's like a skating rink.
Here are a few shots I took today if anyone is interested:)
