Title: Turkey Vulture and more at Lake Aquitaine - Sun. Sept. 5th
Post by: Bird Brain on September 06, 2010, 08:22:29 AM
Hi everyone.   I was walking around Lake Aquitaine yesterday between 11:30am-12:30pm and sighted the following:

Blue Jay - 1
Canada Geese - 2
House Sparrows - lots
Mallards - lots
Turkey Vulture - 1, soaring above rooftop of highrise building on North side of lake.

Also sighted 3 HUGE Crows cawing up a storm! plus making unusual sounds that sound like a Woodpecker hammering on a tree AND sounding like an electric saw!  What's up with this?!  It's hilarious to see and hear!

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
