Title: Virginia Rail
Post by: farmer on September 14, 2010, 02:48:42 PM
I encountered this Virginia Rail inside our barn flying against the window. I managed to gently capture it and took this photo before I released it with no harm done. Note it's toes, I was surprised how long they were!

Job well done.
Plus you got the added bonus of getting a great and very unique photo/view of this elusive little bird.
