Today, I did a little solo hawk watching in Trinity Bellwoods Park an hour around noon. I just wanted to see whether I could get some raptors in my own neighborhood, and indeed I could. Not great numbers but I didn't stay out for long either.
Winds: W to N 8-17 km/h all morning. Partly cloudy, becoming 100% cloudy at 1pm, after which the migration seemed to taper off.
Birds:
2 Sharp-shinned Hawk
1 Cooper's Hawk
4 Accipiter sp.
10 Broad-winged Hawk
1 Red-tailed Hawk
2 American Kestrel
1 ad Peregrine Falcon
