Title: Red Tail
Post by: Iain on January 28, 2007, 11:51:47 AM
I'm guessing its a red-tail.  Large wings and head and bulky body suggest buteo, the overall feel of the bird is Red-tail to me.

Good photo quiz.

Red-tail is always the obvious answer around these parts.  I was hoping that it would be something more exotic, as we saw a Merlin earlier that day.  Thank you for the reply.
