managed a quick shot of this guy as he zoomed by last week.the second photo shows him gaining on a lesser yellowlegs he was chasing,but did not catch.the last is the evening sunlight,lighting up this pretty scene in frenchman,s bay.

I love the first two, the swan is nice too, but can't really compare to a hawk chase... :D

steve: between, coopers,sharp-shinned,merlin,and peregrine,dive bombing the shorebirds over the last 3 weeks,you just know to be ready,and look up when the birds get very vocal,and flush.
