Title: Late Robin Sighting - Tillsonburg Area
Post by: Bill & Jaye on October 09, 2010, 07:36:51 PM
We had not seen any robins for about a month.  But on this bright sunny day we saw a pair of robins in the back yard.  Perhaps on their way south from points further north.
Hope they dont stay too long!

I've been seeing minimum 150 here at Lake Aquitaine, Maplewood Park and Lake Wabukayne lately - they are everywhere!  :)

Late Robins!

We still have Robins here in Milton just outside of Toronto and it is Oct 16. Judging by the amount of fruit on the Crab apple trees down the street  and behind the house I suspect they will be here all winter (unless the Waxwings devour everything).

We were at Balm beach today (Sept 16) 30 minutes North of Barrie and found a few Robins hanging around, one was having a drink at our bird bath.

Heck! we spotted a Turkey Vulture North of Barrie today :?:

I am more surprised that the Red Winged Black birds are back! I have not seen any since the end of July, stragglers ? I dunno

I,m in Sudbury and there are still lots of robins in the area.I suspect because there are still lots of Mountain ash berries on the trees..bob
