Title: I'm guessing Hermit Thrush and Golden Crowned Kinglet
Post by: Rob'in'To on October 13, 2010, 07:13:52 PM
Another cloudy afternoon but I made the best of it...

Hermit Thrush (I think)

Golden Crowned Kinglet...  I saw dozens of these this afternoon.  Such quick constant moving little buggers.

Fox Sparrow?  Wow!  I jumped the gun, so to speak, on my assumption what with the spotted chest.  I've never seen a Fox Sparrow before, that is, until now.  I hope to see one again in the next few days.

Thanks Reuven!

Nice shot. I'll have to check all my Thrush shots closely now ... in case any were of a Fox Sparrow .  I saw my first this spring and got a pic just in the nick of time - but was not really close enough.
