Title: High Park Hawk Watch, Sat Oct 16

This afternoon (1pm-3.30pm) from the High Park hawk watch:

123   Turkey Vulture   
1   Northern Harrier   
11   Sharp-shinned Hawk   
1   Northern Goshawk   
14   Red-tailed Hawk   

A Short-eared Owl was seen before I arrived.

Great sightings, tomorrow is calling for sunny and NW winds which will be good for migrations as well.

A bit slower today at the High Park hawk watch. I was there between 1 pm and 3.30 pm. Winds were strong and mostly NW to WNW.
