Title: Viceroy and Fiery Skipper - Oct 20th
Post by: Bluffs Birder on October 20, 2010, 09:20:43 PM
Today at Rosetta McClain Gardens, BIGFRANK found a rather fresh looking Viceroy feeding on verbena bonariensis and a few minutes later I found a slightly worn Fiery Skipper feeding on the same plant.  Also seen today was Red Admiral, Monarch, Cabbage White, and Clouded Sulphur.

Good shooting Walter (or Frank?)!. Nice to see the Verbena still appears to be in really good shape, so any butterflies in the vicinity when the weather is still ok should be attracted to it.
