Has anyone else had this happen. There seem to be a couple of very smart Sparrows that can feed upside down in my finch feeder. Not as athletic as the gold finch but still manage to get a nice meal.

Yes, we've had it happen. And like you say, not as graceful as the finch, but they manage. We've also had RWBB eat from the upside down feeder, but they are large enough to sit on the stick and reach up high enough to the next hole for food. :)

I've had a number of house sparrows feeding from my upside down suet feeder.

Us too! If there's a will there's a way I guess. :)
