Title: Downy woodpeckers

A real joy today -  a pair of d. woodpeckers in our backyard in Brampton. Only seen the male previously.
Also Chickadees are proving v. entertaining.

I love these little guys. We are very lucky, we had a pair show up a few years back and they have remained. We now actually have 2 or three pairs! We also have a pair of Hairys. The male was around a year before solo, and the following year he brought a female to the feeder. We were thrilled!  This past summer they brought their young to the feeder as well. Enjoy them!
