Looks like great opportunities - hope we can make it work - looking forward to it and to meeting some of the forum regulars.

Yes, this inspires me even more so to make this happen in the new year.  Great shots!

Napper, it looks too red to be a Merlin, don't know what it is though.

Might be a Merlin after all, but the European subspecies, which is more reddish.

Yes, #5 is a Merlin.  I forget his name.  We got to meet him in our Raptor Encounter back in September.  His cage/pen was being cleaned and he was in the back area of the centre.

fun eh meghan!
i was there doing a workshop back in august, and took over 1000 shots! i had 2 camera set-ups.still havent touched any of them.it was quite the experience, and one i can highly recommend to anyone who hasn,t gone.just the barn owl is worth the trip, not to mention all the other beautiful raptors, and owls.

Great shots Meghan! Mountsberg is quite the experience.
The Merlin's name is Scout.

They also have a juvenile bald eagle who is totally awesome.

I'm away for the next couple of weekends :(

Those of you that do go up will have a blast. take extra batteries, memory cards and varied lenses-one small and one large. You will not be disappointed.
