Title: The Legend Of Pale Male
Post by: BIGFRANK on November 10, 2010, 06:12:19 PM
There has been a new movie put together about Pale Male...here is the trailer. Yes that is Mary Tyler Moore in it,the nest was over her condo. Woody Allen lived in the same condo building too.

Thanks for this link Frank!!
I always love to watch the PBS show on this famous Red Tail and his incredible life and legacy.

Meghan

* I also find it rather amusing to see shots of the large groups of people with cameras, bins and scopes all pointed at the mega million $$ condos

Ought to try doing a Peregrine Falcon fledge watch at Yonge and Eglinton. The nest is on an office building. Best place to watch is from outside the police station 53 Division. Every shift change CPF staff/volunteers were questioned LOL. We gave them info,a movie and first rescue I did,I took the bird into the station for them to see. That smoothed things over.

Thanks for sharing this, it was amazing that they brought it back. I'm glad it had a happy ending. (Don't mess with New Yorkers and the things they love!!)

So...what I gather is that he's still around (more fortunate than his past 3 mates) just that he hasn't been able to reproduce again -- I wonder if his breeding stats are typical....I had no idea that they tended toward monogamy...
