Earlier today I posted a comment here,

complimenting dawnofthewolf on their deer spotting skills and lamenting on my own.
So here I am a few hours later feeding the chickadees just off the parking lot when I hear a rustling sound behind me.
I turn to see a single deer run past about fifteen feet away!
