Title: Red Bellied Woodpecker (x2) in Lambton?
Post by: Rob'in'To on November 26, 2010, 04:29:55 PM
I am almost certain I have seen two Red Bellies in Lambton recently.  Why?  The distance from the one sighting to the other was seemingly far (to me).  I'd like to think there are at least two in the woods anyways.   :?   I have to stretch the zoom out to the max for these guys way up in the tree and then come home and crop the heck out of the photos.  They are a treat to see since I rarely see 'em.

Nice pics Rob!
There is/was a nest in one of the trees so I would assume that there are two of them.

I think number 2 is female. 1 and 3 show a male.
