Title: Mockingbird
Post by: Margaret on November 29, 2010, 07:54:45 PM
Hi folks, Starlings are swarming (kettling?) here in Brampton on a daily basis.
Yesterday morning, after shopping I drove up to the garage door and approx. 100 starlings flew away from trees in front garden to neighbour's. Among the "black", a bit of white - a mocker. That's about the third time I've seen one of these in this area in past 2-3 years.

I hear the Mockingbirds flying over at night all the time during the spring and summer, but I've never seen one.  I'll be sure to keep an eye out next time I'm up Brampton way.
