Very nice! The 3rd one is beautiful with the reflection in the water. Is that a greater yellow legs?
-
thanks.
not sure if it is greater or lesser.
-
Denis, I would have to say the GBH shot is one of the best pics you've ever posted.
The bird, water, rocks and vegetation all come together to make a magnificent photo!
-
thanks john
appreciate it.kinda like that shot myself.
-
I absolutely love number 3. Great job on the whole set!
-
Nice pictures! I would say number 3 is a Greater Yellowlegs as the bill looks fairly long and thick.

thanks sahria
thanks tom,as always for the proper ID
this bird shot was taken at the lagoons in port perry, and i suspected it was a greater,as there were 2 other yellow leggs nearby, that appeared much smaller.

Very nice set Denis. I'm partial to the yellowlegs. You've really mastered the IF's - I wish some of it would rub off :)
-
thanks. to both of you.
moira, keep at it! i practise on ducks, geese, gulls, all the time to keep sharp.
-
Great set as usual, love that yellowlegs one as well, reflection throws it over the top!
-
thanks.
the only reason i kept the shot, was the reflection,as the light wasn,t too good that day.
