Nice shots Moira! When I first saw my first plover (and other shore birds_ I could not believe how SMALL they really were! I was shocked to find these teeny birds running amuck along the rocks and shores of the lake
pictures can also be deceiving because we can make them look much larger then life :) and they also blend in to their surroundings very well!
Good spotting on these guys

Thank you Irene. I really liked seeing the groups of shorebirds at the ocean's edge, scurrying along. There was good variety at Fort DeSoto. It was my first visit and I was pleased.
