At Thickson Woods.
This was my best pic. Unfortunately the bird was not very co-operative!

Great pics Zed!
I was sad today when the lady at mountsberg said that the snowies weren't in the program :(
Guess I'll be keeping my eyes out to see when the snowies arrive :D

that,s about as good as you can get that GHO at thickson,s,john.
usually he,s buried in at the tops.

Nice ones John. The GHO at Thickson's is definitely a hard shoot. I'm with Crystal - disappointed that the Snowies and Bald Eagles weren't available for our shoot yesterday.

Thanks!
Crystal & Moira - Snowies are amazing looking birds, I would have been disappointed too. I shot these thru the fence.
Denis & Moira - That GHO is hard to shoot, but it's my 2nd owl and at least I got something!

Nice Shots!
The snowies are gorgeous (love the green background too)
Mountsberg is an awesome place even if you have to shoot them through the fence :)

Thanks Irene.
I shot one other owl and five raptors thru the fence as well, however the backgrounds turned out much too busy.
