Saw these 2 out at Tommy Thompson Park yesterday, were 2 of a few owls seen.
Is still 1 of the best spots in Toronto for owls.
Just don't disturb them too much, i took couple photos and moved on, too cold anyways to stay still :)

i go there quite a bit in the winter, is 1 of my fav places to winter bird locally. Was very windy so i stayed alot to the trees :) hopefully next weekend not as windy as saturday i'd like to search some of the more open areas, find some diff birds that like to hang there like loons and purple sandpipers and more owls

Congrats on the sitings - it's a big place to look for owls - especially in this weather :) I'm long overdue for a visit to the Spit - I'll have to put it on my list.
