Title: Red-tailed Hawk
Post by: Leslie Kinrys on December 10, 2010, 02:58:50 PM
Our neighbours have an enormous Aspen in their yard. All the birds love it, especially the raptors. They can get great views of the area (Sheppard/Bathurst). On Thursday, an adult Red-tail was sitting there. Some goldfinches, a Cardinal and a Downy Woodpecker mobbed it. The hawk preened and ignored the little twirps. The view from my kitchen window is always entertaining.
