.
My sister is GM at a GTA Best Buy and just called me in a panic.
Seems that a Falcon or Hawk (she's not sure) followed a pigeon into their warehouse. (RIP the pigeon)
The problem is now they can't activate the alarm at closing.
Of coarse, The Humane Society doesn't care, as well as a couple of private firms she called.
She needs the bird trapped & removed & released ASAP.
Other temporary security measures have been put in place, but a quick solution is still needed.
Can someone please point in the right direction. They obviously are willing to pay the cost.
Regards, Halton :)

Hey
a similar situation happened were I work a few years ago.. During the day..
The Kestrel left the building as soon as the doors were opened.
Is that possible in this situation..:?:
It is dark now, It may not leave....
Was the bird flying around in wharehouse?
or was it pearched somewhere safe?
(turn the lights off , open the doors in the morning and leave it alone)
Tell the police there is a Hawk trapped in the building tonight.

Thanks Napper
I gave her the info. for the TWC as well as the number for The Peregine Foundation's Project Rescue
I too had thought of the "lights off - doors open" idea......she'll try that in the morning
I'll update as the saga unfolds
