If you are an insomniac this could be a good photo-op; let's hope the weather cooperates!

Too late for me!  I have to go to work in the morning.
I digiscoped this one back in February 2008 (at a much more reasonable hour) with a Canon A70 and my Celestron spotting scope:

Hey

What is the total duration of this event?  I can't find it on the site (probably cause I am blind)

I am up around 4am each day Will I be able to see it?

Title: Eclipse weather promising
Post by: Howieh on December 19, 2010, 12:21:08 PM
As of now it's looking pretty good weatherwise for the eclipse, clear and (not too?) cold. I plan to stay up because we're finally getting out of sunspot minimum and it will be good practice for some all-night aurora watches!:)

Btw, thanks for the kudos - don't get many of those!

This might sound silly but....did this event happen already or will it be tonight?
I'm confused with the times....army time would be clearer.

Its tonight (tomorrow technically). I'll be getting up to see it, assuming I can work up the energy at 2:30/3:00 in the morning  :D
