Title: Queens park: warbler trio
Post by: Andreas Jonsson on May 01, 2006, 09:50:23 AM
Queens park this morning hosted a trio of warblers: one pine, five palm and two dozens of yellow-rumped.

Also seen:

blue-headed vireo
white-throated sparrow
hermit thrush
junco
ruby-crowned kinglet

And furthermore a macabre sight: a squirrel seemingly killled a neighbouring smaller squirrel, and dragged it up into a cavity in a tree. Have anybody seen this before? Cannibalism or weird mating behaviour?
