I was pretty shocked today to see a Red-tailed Hawk flying over Ouellette Ave. downtown Windsor. I see them on the county roads all the time but I have never seen one right in the middle of an urban setting like this. It made my day :)

It could be that the hawks are either becoming used to the urban surroundings or becoming more unfearful of people? This is not the first time I am hearing of this, even in Toronto downtown which is kind of cool in my opinion :)
I'm glad it made your day, it always makes mine when I see the local hawk sitting in his tree in the morning when I'm heading for work, makes me think all is well with the world LOL
Irene :)
