Man am I happy, I have been searching for 3 years to get a pic of one of these and finally today I saw a flock of about 30 at the tip of the Spit enjoy!

Thanks alll...Yah my list is coming along although for me a photo must be taken not enough to just see the bird, knocked off three hard ones this weekend though the Long Eared Owl, Redpoll and now the Northern Harrier...next is the Northern Shrike and I am pretty sure I saw it at the Spit no pic though lol!

I saw a Northern Shrike a few times last winter while doing the inevitable Snowy Owl search in Keswick, along Ravenshoe. Of course, no guarantees :)
