My first bird (and only so far) is American Crow, again!
Hope someone else has something more interesting.

Canada Goose heard going over, and goldfinch was my first seen.
-
Last bird seen in 2010 AND my first bird for 2011 were both Mourning Doves. Hopefully something a little more exciting shows up today. Happy New Year!
-
Thomas ... Yep, me too. American Crow x 2 again! Followed right afterwards by lots of Mallards and a large flock of Canada Geese.
-
American crow for me as well. I did see an American Kestrel and 40 Snow Buntings today though, aswell as almost 20 Evening Grosbeaks :)
-
Wouldn't mind the Evening Grosbeaks, have never seen those!
-
I think the first birds I saw today were Harry and Ron, the Snowy Owls at Mountsberg, I don't remember seeing anything else before then.
-
Blue Jays...and black capped chickadees...and dark eyed juncos...at my feeder...they were the last birds for 2010 too...
-
Cardinal pair at my feeder - my only visitors at the feeder these days
-
Red-tailed Hawk that always perches on a church steeple that I can see from my window.
-
Northern Cardinals. The first birds to arrive at my feeders every day (and the last at night too).
-
Blue Jay at my neighbour's feeder

Pigeons! omg I hope this is not going to be a reflection on what my year is going to be like.
The pigeons are domestic, and always land on the roof of a house near the drug store I go to...but..wait...then I saw a hawk (go figure, Irene sees another hawk??) anyways I could not tell what kind it was, as it flew over very quickly and I saw a bunch of pigeons and other birds fly out of a tree! Ah well..At least I saw something right ? :)
happy birding
Irene
which reminds me I need to change my signature LOL!
