Title: Practice shots with my new *toy*
Post by: Rob'in'To on January 07, 2011, 06:24:46 PM: My other half that posts on here, Angie'in To, spoiled me rotten this Christmas with a Canon Rebel T1i along with an additional lens for better zooming. I am new to the world of SLRs. But, even as a novice, I can clearly see the difference. I hope to share great pics through the year with yas. Focus was an issue that I need to pay attention to with this Cardinal shot. All those little red dots jumping around.

I am not the expert, but I vaguely remember when I got my camera that I was advised to just keep the centre focus red dot on. Otherwise, the camera is hunting for focus and not always getting it. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can pipe in? Looking forward to seeing your shots - enjoy!
