Title: Kumlien's Iceland Gulls - Ashbridges Bay Park
Post by: Iain on March 01, 2007, 06:35:33 PM
I went down to Ashbridges Bay Park this morning around 1030 to find the Iceland Gulls that have been reported on ONTBIRDS.  From the boat launch on the west side of the park you can just see a large group of Gulls at the edge of the ice and open water and beyond the private boat docks.  Eventually a Juvenile flew out towards me over the open water and later at least two adults.  I was too far away to try at the adult Thayer's that had also been reported.

On friday I also relocated the male Harlequin.  He was swimming around with the Long-tails off of the south-western most point of the park.
