I was at a photo lession/session thingy in High Park on Sunday morning. Across a small frozen pond we spotted a Mink chase a Squirrel (who got away). The Mink might have noticed us all watching him with cameras pointed as he kept going. It was a neat sighting! Unfortunately my battery died after this shot.

So cute! Aside from the usual squirrels and the odd raccoon I think I've only seen a beaver at High Park. I like how you caught him mid-leap.

Interesting chase - action photo !

Wow...some reflexes you have ! Great photo....I once watched an ermine chasing a red squirrel on my deck -- they hit my glass door one after another...the squirrel made a lucky escape but the ermine was hunting down the tunnels the squirrels made through the snow...now and then he'd pop his head out of a hole and survey...left you with a definite impression of his blood thirst...I wasn't going to go out there lol

I haven't gotten any notice on this lately and now see the photo is gone too. I best go back to Photobucket and see what is up.

Now it's back. Hmmmmmm?
