Title: Birding in the London, Ontario area?
Post by: Rob'in'To on January 12, 2011, 05:39:47 PM
I was wondering if anyone knew of some good spots in the London, Ontario way to go and do some birding.  Especially to see some Chickadees.  I want to visit my niece one weekend and hopefully introduce her to some friendly hand-feeding Chickadees and get her more interested in the birds (she's going to be 7 in a few weeks).

Thanks in advance if anyone posts a reply!

Rob ... check out Sifton Bog.  :D
I've had luck there in the past with bird sightings, butterflies (obviously in the warm weather!), deer and various wildlife.

Also, check out Westminster Ponds:

Thanks Jo-Anne!  I'll give them a look over.  I'm probably not doing this until April but figured might as well research some and get a plan together.
