Title: Has the world gone mad?

Just yesterday I read of some idiot in Stratford who received a 7 day jail term for beating a swan to death. Now I read in horror, on the CNN website, that three Whooping Cranes each banded and fitted with a radio transmitter, were shot to death in southern Georgia. I'm absolutely convinced that there is an abundance of brain-dead morons living on this planet. Very sad, indeed.
