Wow, it's quite the "Winter Wonderland" out there today!
Hi everyone. This morning I was walking around Lake Aquitaine between 10-11am.
Walked out the back gate of my building, heard a high pitch squeak and this brought a smile to my face as I knew right away that my favourite guy "Woody" (male Wood Duck) was nearby! :D
Amazingly, discovered some open water here at NW corner of lake. "Woody" was there along with:
Black Duck (male) x 1
Mallards x 80+
At SW corner of lake:
Chickadees - lots
House Sparrows - a few
Juncos - lots
Lake Aquitaine: SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
